My publisher, Apress, has released my book a full month early, officially releasing Docker for Data Science last month on August 25. Docker for Data Science is a technical manual for designing and deploying data infrastructure using Docker and Jupyter.
The book developed out of my own personal interest in Jupyter, Docker, and interactive computing, but really took off when I began teaching Data Science at General Assembly. There I put many of my ideas into practice, allowing me to develop a deeper understanding that I might put into my writing.
I hope that the book will find an audience with Data Scientists of any level who want to grow their knowledge about system infrastructure and managing their own environment and system resources.
A book release event is scheduled for October 18th at the Santa Monica General Assembly campus. Details here.
The book can be purchased through Amazone at this link.
